wow!
- this is a 'Friends of the Fish' special - Friends of the Fish 2, to be precise - not available ANYWHERE ELSE; it features a track from the new album plus a previously-unreleased live version of 'Mariner Blues' and the fact that it's lathe-cut one copy at a time makes it all-the-more-special (sorry about the price, but they ARE very expensive to produce!). The good news is that we will have 100 promo CDs of the single - and they'll be free to the first 100 album buyers, whether they buy the 7" or not!

booking details for the gig are HERE

+Where You Go (2007) was the first album released by Cary Grace following her move to England from the USA, and represents a period of creative transition, but will still sound very familiar to those who enjoy her later music. The CD comprises nine deep, dreamy, original songs, beautifully packaged in a gatefold mini-LP style sleeve.

++Games For May's resifent DJ, Marrs Bonfire from Bay FM, has put together a mixtape-on-CD of the kinds of weird and wonderful sounds listeners to his weekly show have come to expect; entirely unofficial and nothing-to-do-with-us, guv

+++A slice of Psychedelia? A pinch of prog?A glint of Garage? A touch of Mod? What’s THE PAST TENSE of PIPE? Its the lost 2nd Album by PIPE, before they morphed into mod psych favourites THE PAST TENSE. This 18 track CD includes the 10 tracks from the unreleased album extended to include a further 8 demos recorded 10+ years earlier

++++ZX+ started in 2010 after compiling a self titled album consisting of demos and unwanted songs from other projects. In 2013 ZX+ released a vinyl album entitled 'Sickly', continuing with the same aesthetic and stylistic feel. The third ZX+ album entitled “Don’t Drink the Water” will be released later this year.
The Crazies 2 CD set is exclusive to FDM gig goers. Each CD includes one track from each album, a cover song previously released by FDM, an additional cover, plus lots of exclusive tracks. This is the first of the set - you'll have to come along to the '13th Dream' for Part 2.

+++++Mega Dodo's John Blaney explains his label's CD, produced especially for the goodie-bag...."...Mega Dodo is less a record label, more a dysfunctional family. As you’ll hear when you listen to this show hosted by Neil Nixon from Miskin Radio, it has an eclectic, odd, singular and psychedelic roster of artistes that cover a broad spectrum of all things psyche. Poptastic, mate! Alright!"

++++++Alternative folk duo Jeremy and Lorraine Millington aka The Portraits celebrate their 10th year in 2015 and to mark this, they are producing two limited edition "Best Of"-style CD compilations to be distributed exclusively in goodie bags at two events hosted by Fruits de Mer Records this summer. The songs on each CD span the full decade of the band's existence, all being taken from their six studio albums, including the recent iTunes chart hit The Rest Of Time, as heard on BBC Radio 2, taken from the band's as-yet-untitled forthcoming 2015 album.

+++++++The Zeta Puppies say,"Our offering for the Games For May goodie bags is a strictly limited edition CD version of our "12 Theories of Time Travel" download album, which has been gaining some excellent reviews since its release last September. As well as the 12 tracks of the original album, this version will include previously unreleased bonus tracks.....we spoil you, don't we?"

++++++++Headspin Records is a vinyl-only label based in the Netherlands and offers heavy stoner and psych rock sounds by contemporary artists, including SIENA ROOT, ETERNAL ELYSIUM, THREE SEASONS, ELDER and BLACK PYRAMID; on their side-division MIND EXPANDING SOUNDS they offer releases by bands inspired by 60’s freakpop, spacerock and krautrock such as KRAUTZONE, ASTRAL SON, THE LUCK OF EDEN HALL, RE-STONED & WILL Z. This specially-compiled CD will include the likes of Sula Bassana, The Luck Of Eden Hall, Elder and Astral Son.

+++++++++Stylus Records - Having been an avid collector of instrumental records since 1960, Trev Faull published his first book in 1999, Brit-Pop 60s Instrumentals, covering the whole of the sixties on British made recordings. Stylus Records was born soon after.
To date there are over 240 titles on the label; most of the recordings are 50 years old and more, Trev has been lucky enough to have access to the biggest collection of instrumental recordings worldwide and this has been an enormous advantage to keep those releases coming. Stylus is one of the UK music industry's best-kept secrets - a hidden treasury of recorded music - details of the label's CDs can be viewed on The Bim Bam Records website under their Instrumental Section www.bim-bam.com/instro.html. The Games for May CD is a mind-boggling collection of instrumentals, specially selected by Trev.
