As Fruits de Mer followers know,PINHDAR are an Italian duo comprising singer Cecilia Miradoli and guitarist/producer Max Tarenzi. Friends of the label for some time, they even flew over to play our summer Dr. Sardonicus festival a few years back.

Now we have their new album, ‘Comfort In The Silence’ (their third album for FdM)...across its nine tracks, they refine their signature blend of trip-hop, darkwave and electronica - dreamlike and rich in texture, yet never lapsing into imitation; layered trip-hop rhythms, Max’s darkwave and atmospheric guitars, and Cecilia’s evocative voice build to create an intense/cinematic experience.
Production is handled by Pinhdar, with mixing by Ian Caple (Tricky, Martina Topley-Bird), With Lee Pomeroy (Archive) on bass.
